5 Surefire Tips to being a Successful Network Marketer | MLM Tips

So many new network marketers get into MLM and have been fed the lies that it is a sales business. This isn't true. You must know your prospects, therefore... MLM is a relationship and people business.

I have 5 surefire tips that will help you become a Successful Network Marketer:

1. Learn people skills - It literally costs you or anyone else a single penny to say hi, smile and brighten their day. Approach each person with NO agenda. Developing people skills begins with a genuine desire to get to know how people tick. You want to know what they like, what they need, how YOU can improve their lives.

In some cases, just being a friend to someone will improve their lives, and yours as well. Offer your name, ask their name. Say their name when you talk to them. LISTEN to them. Hear them when they speak. Keep in mind, not everyone is a prospect... however, by being a friend to someone, you open many doors through the power of relationships.

2. Know what your prospects want - Time Freedom, not money, is one of the most dominating motivators for anyone wanting to be a full time marketer. This alone has helped me work through some of the most challenging times in my network marketing career. Knowing that the little things I do now, contribute to my time freedom in the very near future is what motivates me to continue when the results don't immediately match with my effort.

Another major motivator for prospects is spending time with their family. Having enough money to enjoy time freedom will give them all of the time they want with their family.

3. Be thankful for your full time employment while you learn and build your organization. Your full time job is the vehicle that will help you build the residual income with your MLM business. I know your job isn't your true passion, still treat it with appreciation as you transition to full time network marketing status. Why would you be blessed with a full time income in your business if you treat your current full time income with no respect or appreciation?

4. Do not be jealous or competitive with others that are in the same industry that may be further along than you. Any form of jealousy or competition is fear and fear only blocks progress in your efforts.

There are plenty of people to go around to help that we can all find success. When you believe that you have tapped into infinite supply, there is no competition. Focus only on you and those who follow you! This one tip alone will take you far!

5. Don't confuse activity with results. Checking your email 30 times a day is not working on your business. Engaging people, following up with prospects, updating your blog, responding to ads, engaging social media followers, and spending time on the phone with your prospects is productive activity. Anything other than this is wasting time.

Stop planning to plan to plan on starting. You are going to fall down, this is part of learning. Learn something while you are down there, get up and move forward; more educated and armed with more enthusiasm.

Because you are worth it,
John Wiser

Network Marketing and MLM Sponsoring vs Recruiting - Part 4 | Why I Chose to Be a Sponsor

Why I chose to be a Network Marketing Sponsor and Mentor
It's been a few days since I have posted on here, and with some good reason. I have been spending some quality time reaching out to my team, working with them and helping them move into their dreams.

I have also been talking with some brilliant prospects and clients that have shared their stories with me. I heard their pain when they were telling me about how they had been taken advantage of by greedy companies and sponsors, I mean recruiters with huge egos. I have heard stories of having to pay hundreds of dollars to join companies and spend even more for training and materials. That did it... I already knew I was a mentor and sponsor. Just hearing these stories brought out my true passion.

I'm just one person, and my mission is to find and help as many people that I can that have been through the bad side of MLM and Network Marketing. When I first started mentoring and sponsoring, I was a bit focused on myself. Makes sen…

Is Success in 10 Steps by Michael Dlouhy for real? | My Personal Experience

Is Success in 10 Steps by Michael Dlouhy for real? Before I just go and say, heck yeah! It's for real! Let me tell you how I found the book.

I found myself at a point in my life that I had all but given up on network marketing and mlm. I had been in and out for the better part of 15 years, and the last company I was working with exploded right when I was starting to get it figured out. I was done with it. I was over the lies, the big hype, the constant push to sign up more distributors and just plain done with the whole industry, to be honest.

This brings us to the not-so distant past. I was sitting at my desk at work, just thinking about how I could get away from the corporate life and work for myself. I didn't want another MLM. I didn't want to get into some illegal pyramid scheme or some money game ponzi scheme that would ultimately be shut down by the FTC.

I was wracking my brain. Then I thought of something, as if the idea just appeared... I needed a mentor. One that ha…

Think and Grow Rich Lessons - Chapter 9: Persistence | The Journey

Think and Grow Rich Lessons from Chapter 9: PersistenceThis chapter comes at no better than time than today for me, personally. Intensity of Desire"The ease with which lack of persistence may be conquered will depend entirely upon the intensity of one's desire."
This is as true today as it was when it was written all those years ago by Mr. Hill.
When we find ourselves hitting "speed bumps" in our efforts, they can often appear as enormous mountain ranges that block our view of the final prize. That is why we must write down, and keep our "WHY" in front of us at all times as we walk through the test of persistence that gauges whether or not we can "take it." These times, early in the journey are the times that separate the weak from the successful and when the desire is so strong that we have no choice but to carry on, then we have what it takes and will pass the test.

It's a Marathon, not a Sprint Mr. Hill goes on, later in the chapter, to s…
