The Journey of a Network Marketer - Part 12 | The Path of Least Resistance

The Path of Least Resistance - How Contrary!

Many MLM "recruiters" will fill the head's of their recruits that, in order to succeed, they must go through a gauntlet of failure. BOLOGNA! That is direct sales, and not Network Marketing. Honestly, as a network marketer; would you rather take the path of least resistance or go through the minefield?

Disclaimer - Networking is not super easy but it is quite simple, when done correctly!

So what is the path of least resistance?

In simple terms, if you feel good about what you are doing and know that what you are doing is going to help many people... that is the path of least resistance.

Just as a river will carve out a windy path in a mountain range, or electricity will flow through copper wire. All vibrations travel with ease down the least resistant path. It is a law of the universe and is the same in our human journey.

In my most recent experiences, every level of increasing business exposure has been through developing relationships with other marketing professionals.

This goes hand-in-hand with my chosen path in networking. Sharing the good news, that their previous lack of success is not their fault and then backing it up with an amazing group of professional network marketing professionals. This has not only been rewarding, it has been fun and when something is fun... there is no resistance!

In life, it's no difference. We have choices. For instance, the other day I had an opportunity to work with a person that had not had great success in the MLM industry through the last several years. I could have told them that the company they were involve with was stupid and they should have researched more before joining. STOP! Nope. This, is insulting and will cause an immediate brick wall to be thrown up and there would be no chance of me being able to help them.

No, this was their choice so many years ago. At the time, it was something they believed in and it felt good to them. I can't judge anyone for getting involved with greedy companies... I did it myself!! Instead, I empathized with them and gave them their due props for having the courage to step out into such a world that so many are afraid to venture. They have a dream and a solid "WHY" for getting involved in that particular MLM company. They just didn't have the guidance and leadership they needed to help them and, of no fault of their own, it didn't work out.

By letting them know that I sincerely understand and wish to help them, the resistance level dropped and allowed a positive relationship to blossom. I choose this path any day over making people feel like they made a mistake and it was all their fault. I will leave that to the super recruiters who treat people like numbers.

If you feel like your path is lined with mines, or any other debris that just doesn't feel right you, I want to invite you to reach out to me. My mission is one that puts you first and that will never put you in a position of pressure. I only wish to help those as my mentor has done for me.

Email me directly at - and just say hi and tell me what you have been doing. I don't judge, because more than likely I have been there.

Til next time,
John Wiser

Think and Grow Rich Lessons - Chapter 9: Persistence | The Journey

Think and Grow Rich Lessons from Chapter 9: PersistenceThis chapter comes at no better than time than today for me, personally. Intensity of Desire"The ease with which lack of persistence may be conquered will depend entirely upon the intensity of one's desire."
This is as true today as it was when it was written all those years ago by Mr. Hill.
When we find ourselves hitting "speed bumps" in our efforts, they can often appear as enormous mountain ranges that block our view of the final prize. That is why we must write down, and keep our "WHY" in front of us at all times as we walk through the test of persistence that gauges whether or not we can "take it." These times, early in the journey are the times that separate the weak from the successful and when the desire is so strong that we have no choice but to carry on, then we have what it takes and will pass the test.

It's a Marathon, not a Sprint Mr. Hill goes on, later in the chapter, to s…

Network Marketing and MLM Sponsoring vs Recruiting - Part 4 | Why I Chose to Be a Sponsor

Why I chose to be a Network Marketing Sponsor and Mentor
It's been a few days since I have posted on here, and with some good reason. I have been spending some quality time reaching out to my team, working with them and helping them move into their dreams.

I have also been talking with some brilliant prospects and clients that have shared their stories with me. I heard their pain when they were telling me about how they had been taken advantage of by greedy companies and sponsors, I mean recruiters with huge egos. I have heard stories of having to pay hundreds of dollars to join companies and spend even more for training and materials. That did it... I already knew I was a mentor and sponsor. Just hearing these stories brought out my true passion.

I'm just one person, and my mission is to find and help as many people that I can that have been through the bad side of MLM and Network Marketing. When I first started mentoring and sponsoring, I was a bit focused on myself. Makes sen…

Is Success in 10 Steps by Michael Dlouhy for real? | My Personal Experience

Is Success in 10 Steps by Michael Dlouhy for real? Before I just go and say, heck yeah! It's for real! Let me tell you how I found the book.

I found myself at a point in my life that I had all but given up on network marketing and mlm. I had been in and out for the better part of 15 years, and the last company I was working with exploded right when I was starting to get it figured out. I was done with it. I was over the lies, the big hype, the constant push to sign up more distributors and just plain done with the whole industry, to be honest.

This brings us to the not-so distant past. I was sitting at my desk at work, just thinking about how I could get away from the corporate life and work for myself. I didn't want another MLM. I didn't want to get into some illegal pyramid scheme or some money game ponzi scheme that would ultimately be shut down by the FTC.

I was wracking my brain. Then I thought of something, as if the idea just appeared... I needed a mentor. One that ha…
