Network Marketing and MLM Sponsoring vs Recruiting - Part 3 | Sponsors Give and Give

A True Network Marketing Sponsor does not take, they give and give...

I have found that I am not concerned with making money anymore. I am more concerned with helping other people make money. I believe that means that I have become a sponsor! Feels pretty good to really focus on helping people that have had little or no success in Network Marketing. It just keeps making me want to give and give more. The reason this is so is because my sponsor has been the same with me. He has been there from the beginning of this journey, coaching, helping, giving me the skills I need to succeed... and I all I want to do is pass it on to my team!

In the past 2 weeks, I have met about a dozen people that have been recruited. They were told by their recruiters that they would help them every step of the way. Out of the dozen, 8 of these people never heard from the person that recruited them after they spent upwards of $500 for a business starter kit. Two of the people I have met that I am now mentoring, were actually told to promote multiple products and business opportunities at once before even sponsoring a single person or getting a customer with their main business. I'm sorry for the language, but that pisses me off.

This really solidifies my decision to become a network marketing mentor and coach. I hate seeing honest people get ripped off. The good news is, I can and do help them. I have been in their position and I have made it my mission to help as many as I can.

What do you give as a sponsor, John?

Well, most of all, I give my time. My time to find out where someone is, what they really wish to accomplish and from there... my mentor and I put together a plan of attack. Everyone is different. Some people have already developed some skills, some need to be trained from the bottom up... no matter, I will give them my time to help them develop these network marketing skills.

I give them a solid relationship. I make it a point to make my team feel comfortable enough to be able to tell me anything that is on their mind. I never judge them, because I am no better than them... I have just been taught some things that they have not. I will be working with these amazing people for a very long time, so I want them to know that they have a friend. One of my favorite team members, I met almost 10 years ago. We stay in contact, and when I told her about the Mentoring For Free program, and Success in Ten Steps , she was all in and ready to put it to work. The relationships I have developed since, are some people that will my family will be celebrating holidays with and taking trips with. It's more than business, it's a family!

I give them me. I want them to succeed more than anything. I give them my heart, my mind and my soul. I believe in anyone that is willing to be coached and apply the skills taught. I owe it to them, because 9 out of 10 times... they have been lied to and scammed by some fast talking recruiter with only profit on the agenda. Network Marketing is a wonderful industry, and I want my team to experience it in the most positive way!

I know this may sound too good to be true, but it's not. I thought the same thing. I was just waiting for the bomb to drop. Well, the only bomb is that the system works! It works for normal people that want a better life, and to own that life!

Again, Sponsors... Real Network Marketing Sponsors give... and the give like there is no tomorrow.

Til Next Time,
John Wiser

Network Marketing and MLM Sponsoring vs Recruiting - Part 4 | Why I Chose to Be a Sponsor

Why I chose to be a Network Marketing Sponsor and Mentor
It's been a few days since I have posted on here, and with some good reason. I have been spending some quality time reaching out to my team, working with them and helping them move into their dreams.

I have also been talking with some brilliant prospects and clients that have shared their stories with me. I heard their pain when they were telling me about how they had been taken advantage of by greedy companies and sponsors, I mean recruiters with huge egos. I have heard stories of having to pay hundreds of dollars to join companies and spend even more for training and materials. That did it... I already knew I was a mentor and sponsor. Just hearing these stories brought out my true passion.

I'm just one person, and my mission is to find and help as many people that I can that have been through the bad side of MLM and Network Marketing. When I first started mentoring and sponsoring, I was a bit focused on myself. Makes sen…

The Journey of a Network Marketer - Part 6 | The Definition of a Mentor

Day 12 - The Paradigm Shift into being a Real Mentor

To be quite honest with you, there was a few days that I did not really see myself as a mentor. Then, it was in the middle of writing a post on what I received from reading the chapter on persistence in "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill, that it clicked. Some would call it an "Aha" moment. I call it one of the most excited states of vibration my body has ever encountered!

I had been questioning my credibility as a mentor based on what I believed other people that knew me, thought of me. Oh man, how silly is that. As mentioned in the chapter, many fail to persist based on their fear of criticism. This is a fear that lives deeply embedded in our habits that it can be difficult to remove. In my case, it was instantly removed. I came to the reality that I DO NOT CARE what other people think of me and it feels good!

So, being a mentor... what is it?

In my own experience, a mentor is someone that will guide you, teach…

Is Success in 10 Steps by Michael Dlouhy for real? | My Personal Experience

Is Success in 10 Steps by Michael Dlouhy for real? Before I just go and say, heck yeah! It's for real! Let me tell you how I found the book.

I found myself at a point in my life that I had all but given up on network marketing and mlm. I had been in and out for the better part of 15 years, and the last company I was working with exploded right when I was starting to get it figured out. I was done with it. I was over the lies, the big hype, the constant push to sign up more distributors and just plain done with the whole industry, to be honest.

This brings us to the not-so distant past. I was sitting at my desk at work, just thinking about how I could get away from the corporate life and work for myself. I didn't want another MLM. I didn't want to get into some illegal pyramid scheme or some money game ponzi scheme that would ultimately be shut down by the FTC.

I was wracking my brain. Then I thought of something, as if the idea just appeared... I needed a mentor. One that ha…
